Position DescriptionManages the Private Fleet operations at the Distribution Center Manager and Shipping Manager in developing balanced daily workflow and over see ship plan for replenishment of store inventroy.Coordinates communication to all store managers concerning weekly deliveries, especially off schedule deliveries and is the point of contact for all dedicated contract carrier activity and acts as the liaison between the carriers and Distribution Center ManagementTrack and report transportation metrics and store service standards as required.Coordinates Distribution Center, store, and carrier scheduling for all new store, Distribution Center transfers, and vendor call backs.
